The superb award winning 18 hole USGA specification golf course is set in richly wooded parkland with breathtaking views towards Dartmoor and Exmoor. The 5,600 yard par 68 course is an excellent test whatever your golfing standard.
Highbullen boasts a superb pavilion from where to relax and take in views of the course, a pro shop, putting green, dedicated locker room and The Spike Bar combine to complete the experience.
Great Torrington is owned and managed by it's members who are justifiably proud of a club that offers testing golf on a course that is maintained in excellent condition, combined with warm hospitality. The condition of the course in general and the greens in particular are renowned throughout the county. Whilst it is a challenging course it is also suitable for golfers of all abilities.
The bar and restaurant both offer a good selection of meals together with a daily specials board.

Libbaton is one of the county's undiscovered sporting gems, set in the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside, only 10 minutes from Barnstaple. Having undergone major changes over the years, benefiting from thousands of mature trees and with water coming in to play on at least 10 holes it provides a serious test for the accomplished player whilst giving the less proficient an enjoyable day out.
Libbaton has a fully licensed bar with an extensive bar snacks and restaurant menu, well stocked pro shop, and lessons available from a resident PGA pro. Visitors are most welcome and handicap certificates are not required. There is also a covered floodlit driving range.
Portmore, just two miles away and on the outskirts of Barnstaple, provides a true test for the experienced golfer as well as being ideal for the beginner. There are 9 and 18 hole courses together with a floodlit 23 bay golf range and a golf professional for anyone wanting to improve their golf skills whilst on holiday. There is a bar and restaurant in the clubhouse offering a varied menu with and a selection of daily specials, together with a selection of golfing accessories. This is a family run business and quality and service are the main objective, the friendly atmosphere being the key to good customer service. The Royal North Devon at Westward Ho! can rightly claim to be the cradle of English Golf. Founded in 1864, it is the oldest golf course in the country and is regarded as the St.Andrews of the South.
The golf course is as tough as any of the UK's more famous links layouts and has recently been placed in Golf World's top 100 courses in the world that a golfer " must play " . The club has a restaurant and pro shop and visitors are always most welcome.

The famous Saunton golf Club with it's two 18 hole courses - East and West - is renowned as one of the best links courses in the country. In Nick Faldo's words ' I cannot think of anywhere in England where 36 holes could be more enjoyable'. Both courses are in Golf World's top 100 Golf Courses.
There is a wonderful clubhouse with restaurant and bar, resident golf professional and a superb well stocked golf shop. A visit to Saunton is a must for the keen golfer whilst here in North Devon.
